Valarie: A Puppet Show

A collective of multidisciplinary artists blends handcrafted puppetry with projections, sound and movement in this new work about a woman pulled into an uncanny wilderness while searching for her missing dog. Developed during a month-long residency as part of the Denver Center for the Performing Arts’ Arts Complex Creates: New Works Incubator, the piece explores displacement, belonging and shifting ideas of home through a cast of surreal puppet creatures.
