The Pumpkin Kid

An orphan rolls into town with a wagon of misshapen pumpkins and, using three broken tools borrowed from grumpy neighbors, carves lanterns that begin to mend their hearts. This 40-minute family musical by Jeff LaGreca and Suzanne Slade, based on the children’s book by LaGreca and Colorado artist Barry Brown, returns for a second Denver season with a live band. An optional 30-minute pumpkin-carving session with the cast follows each performance.
