The application window for the Denver Fringe Festival is open and applications can be submitted on the website at denverfringe.org now through February 28th.

The 2021 Denver Fringe Festival will take place June 24-27 as a hybrid festival including some live performances at indoor and outdoor venues in Five Points/RiNo Art District (following health and safety guidelines) as well as live-streaming and pre-recorded options for those who prefer to experience the shows online. Our goal this year is to provide as many performance options as possible for artists, and as many viewing options as possible for audiences. We are especially excited to add a KidsFringe component with family-friendly performances and workshops.

Performers in any of the following genres can apply — cabaret, circus arts, comedy, dance, devised theatre, improvisation, mime, musical, original theatre, physical theatre, puppetry, solo performance, kids shows.

ABOUT DENVER FRINGE:

The Denver Fringe Festival is an annual festival created to bring fringe performance – original, innovative and experimental – to creative venues at an affordable price. We believe in the power of live performance and that bringing artists and audiences together cultivates community. The Fringe festival model is designed to support all genres of performance arts and to attract bold, progressive artistry that is on the fringes of the mainstream theatre tradition.

Our goals are:

  • To support emerging artists in a variety of performance arts
  •   To make performance arts more accessible and inclusive
  •  To build community around an eclectic and inspiring annual summer arts festival

The Denver Fringe Festival is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, a member of the World Fringe network and the RiNo Art District.
