After a successful performance run in NYC last fall, when the blossom passes, what remains? will make its Colorado premiere. This work reconsiders how humans can better live in holistic balance with the earth by tuning in and tending to our own and collective bodies. Combining dance, live music, personal narrative/storytelling, ritual, sustainable scenography, and plant-based elixirs, this work uses the container of the show to practice reciprocity. Through psychological, ecological, somatic, and artistic research, we explore how our connection to our own bodies — in the physical, emotional, and spiritual senses — mirrors our connection to the earth. Participatory and intimate, this piece delves into how care, attunement, collective listening, and healing come into play when we are navigating eco-psychology.
~Price of admission includes 2-plant based non-alcoholic elixirs that are integrated into the performance. Elixirs by Furnace Creek Farm, and local Colorado company, Moringa Vinga.
