A roundup of the growing list of comedy clubs and performances in the state, plus a look at the Historic Elitch Theatre and our weekly Colorado Headliners
In this episode of the OnStage Colorado Podcast, hosts Alex Miller and Toni Tresca take a look at the many places to see standup and improv comedy in the state. From stalwarts like the Comedy Club and Denver Improv to newcomers like Dude, IDK Studios and Peak Improv Theater, Colorado is a legit hotspot for comedy. We run down many of the venues you may want to check out for a few laughs.
Also this week we catch up with Roberta Hamilton-Griggs to talk about the Historic Elitch Theatre. The 100+ year-old venue has been undergoing a serious renovation and will host its first live theatre shows this month with The Bonfils Girl. How the theatre came back from the brink and its storied history is the focus of the interview.
