Season announced at the theatre’s 40th Anniversary celebration

The Aurora Fox Arts Center announced its 2025 season Sept. 7. Shows include:

GEE’S BEND – Step back in time to the deep South and witness the resilience, artistry, and spirit of the African American women of Gee’s Bend through this heartfelt, historical play. Jan. 31-Feb. 23
THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME – Join Christopher, a brilliant but misunderstood teenager, as he embarks on a mind-bending journey to solve a neighborhood mystery and discover the truth about his family. March 21-April 13
LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE – Buckle up for a road trip like no other! This quirky musical comedy follows the Hoover family as they race across the country to help young Olive chase her beauty pageant dreams. June 6-29
SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK LIVE! – Nostalgic and educational fun for all ages, this energetic musical brings the classic Saturday morning cartoons to life with catchy tunes and lessons that’ll have you singing along. Sept. 19-Oct. 18
LIZZIE – Rock out with this electrifying musical about Lizzie Borden, the woman at the center of one of history’s most infamous murder mysteries. It’s gritty, powerful, and not recommended for young audiences. Oct. 10-Nov. 2
THE FARNDALE AVENUE HOUSING ESTATE TOWNSWOMEN’S GUILD DRAMATIC SOCIETY’S PRODUCTION OF A CHRISTMAS CAROL – Expect the unexpected in this hilarious holiday comedy where everything that can go wrong with a community theatre production of “A Christmas Carol” does! Nov. 28-Dec. 21
