About the Author: Kit Baker

Kit Baker is a writer and nonprofit administrator who has raised millions for leading arts organizations on both sides of the Atlantic including the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, International Contemporary Ensemble, Cunningham Dance Foundation, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, Aperture Foundation, Almeida Theatre, Tate Gallery and the pioneering immersive performance and visual art company GAle GAtes et al. In Chicago, he assisted Polish theatre and opera director Henryk Baranowski on the Joseph Jefferson Award-winning U.S. premiere of Georg Tabori’s “Peepshow” and went on to work with Baranowski and his company TransformTheater Berlin on tour in Europe, Siberia, the USA and in London, where Baranowski workshopped his play “Fire in the Shadows” at the Playground. In Colorado, he has worked for The Catamounts, Curious Theatre Company, the Dairy Arts Center and Create Places, and was associate producer for “The Punk Pan-Indian Romantic Comedy” by Gregg Deal at the Music District in Fort Collins.
