Four productions and special events planned

Bas Bleu Theatre Company Tuesday announced its 2025-2026 season featuring a lineup of diverse productions. From post-apocalyptic storytelling to classic Wildean comedy, the Fort Collins’ theatre company season includes plays that explore human relationships, resilience and the power of theatre. The schedule features two Pulitzer Prize-winning dramas alongside special events that continue to bring theatrical experiences to the Fort Collins community.
2025-2026 Season Productions
Mr. Burns, a post-electric play by Anne Washburn

September 19 – October 12
In a post-apocalyptic future where the electric grid has failed, a group of strangers gather around a campfire to recreate their vanished world through storytelling. This production explores how the pop culture of one era might evolve into the mythology of another, featuring elements of music, dance, and theatrical spectacle.
Dinner With Friends by Donald Margulies
Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama
Directed by Lynn Bogner
November 28 – December 21
Two married couples, Karen and Gabe & Beth and Tom, have been best friends for over a decade. When Beth and Tom announce their divorce, it sends a ripple effect through their friendships and lives, challenging Karen and Gabe to examine their own relationship.

Becca and Howie Corbett have everything a family could want until a life-shattering accident turns their world upside down and leaves the couple drifting apart. The play follows their bittersweet search for comfort in the darkest of places and for a path that will lead them back into the light.
The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde

Jack Worthing lives a double life, inventing a younger brother called Ernest whose scandalous behavior requires Jack to regularly travel to London, where Jack himself becomes Ernest. Complications arise when his friend Algernon discovers Jack’s secret identity and his beautiful niece Cecily, leading to a farcical tangle of mistaken identities and revelations. Widely regarded as one of the greatest comedies ever written, the play features razor-sharp wit and sparkling social satire.

An Evening in Paris – Annual Friendraiser
Sunday, August 3, 2025 at 5 PM
The Elizabeth Hotel will provide the backdrop for an evening reminiscent of the splendor of Paris, featuring entertainment, food, and auctions.
The Comedy Brewers
Sunday, May 4th at 7 PM
The Comedy Brewers perform every other month, offering family-friendly improvisational comedy where audience members can participate by providing suggestions for scenes.
