Join us for a choral celebration of light! Choirs and other community members from different cultures and faith traditions come together in concert to illuminate your Sunday afternoon with music and poetry, because we shine brighter together.

Featuring Illuminare

The Chancel Choir from Trinity UMC joins forces with the Colorado Korean Chorus, St. Barnabas Episcopal Parish, and Foothills Community Choir to present Elaine Hagenberg’s Illuminare, conducted by Trinity UMC Associate Director of Music & Arts Ministry, Taylor Gonzales.

llluminare is Ms. Hagenberg’s first extended work, consisting of five movements for SATB chorus and chamber orchestra. Using lesser-known sacred Latin, Greek, and English texts, the piece takes us through a season of beauty and goodness that has been disrupted by darkness and confusion. But as Light gradually returns, hope is restored, illuminating our future and guiding us in peace.
