Little Women (ballet)

Ballet Ariel remounts its original two-act ballet adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s 1869 novel, following the four March sisters and neighbor Laurie from childhood through romance and marriage. Artistic and Executive Director Ilena Norton created the production, using solos and group dances drawn from select chapters of the book. The score blends traditional holiday music such as “Away in a Manger” and “I Saw Three Ships” with classical pieces including selections from Grieg’s “Lyric Pieces.”
