From women’s eyes this doctrine I derived:

They are the Bookes, the Arts, the Academes
That shew, containe, and nourish all the world!
Then fooles you were these women to forsweare:

When the KING and his GENTLEMEN SWEAR to STUDY and FAST and be CELIBATE for three years (WHAT? Terrible idea!!!)….. the arrival of a PRINCESS and her LADIES promptly complicates their oaths.
