One of the Good Ones

Yoli brings her new boyfriend home to meet her accomplished, opinionated Mexican American parents, and dinner soon turns into a collision of generations, identities and assumptions about who counts as “one of the good ones.” Gloria Calderón Kellett, co-creator of Netflix’s One Day at a Time, wrote this family comedy, which gets its regional premiere here. GerRee Hinshaw directs a cast led by Gabriella Cavallero, with Kiara Plaza, Robert Ham, Mikah Conway and Brandon Guzmán.
