Two Cent Lion will stage its first-ever live musical production, Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show. The production is a collaboration between Two Cent Lion and Colorado’s Elusive Ingredient, the largest and longest running Rocky Horror Picture Show Shadow Cast in Colorado.

The Rocky Horror Show is a queer cult classic, fitting in nicely with Two Cent Lion’s mission of putting LGBTQ+ stories in the spotlight. In honor of the long-running Rocky Horror Shadow Cast tradition, two of the eight performances will be late-night “Midnight Mayhem” shows, allowing for special audience interaction/call-and-response. These special performances will feature pre-show games and audience prop bags, both organized by Colorado’s Elusive Ingredient. The partnership takes place on the heels of the Landmark Esquire’s closure, marking a new chapter for Elusive Ingredient as a nomadic group performing in new spaces such as the DCPA Studio Loft, Vintage Theater, and Meow Wolf Denver.
