Harrison Logan, a wealthy young man in Cripple Creek, has secretly married Eily O’Connor, an Irish dance hall performer known as the Colorado Colleen. However, his mother Mrs. Logan, facing financial ruin, is determined to have Harrison marry his wealthy cousin Anne Chute to save the family fortune. The situation is complicated by the scheming lawyer Angus Flagg, who holds the mortgage to the Logan home and harbors his own designs on Mrs. Logan, while Anne’s true love, Karl Daly, watches helplessly as Anne is pushed toward marriage with Harrison.
