One Night Stand Theater stirs up a cauldron of tales about witches, witchcraft and magical women in “Witches Brew”
This one-night-only production features short plays and stories about weird and mysterious witches, funny and dramatic, adept and accidental:
· A modern-day sorceress takes on her romantic rival in “Common Grounds” by P.D. Cacek.
· Family, infidelity and witchcraft collide in “Within One Month’s Time” by Steven Korbar.
· A friend concocts a potion to prevent a bad marriage in “Friendship Brew” by Toby Inoue.
· An enthusiastic witch and her confused accuser meet on “The Steps of Salem” by Jeffrey O’Leary.
· A book club meeting goes off the rails when one of its members shows up possessed in “Early One Evening at the Miskatonic University Ladies Auxiliary Book Club” by John Busser.
· Spend Halloween with a neighborhood witch in “The Neighbor” by Gina Wencel.
· Meet the local college’s witches in residence in “The Wyrd Sisters” by Dana Hall.
