In its relatively short time in Colorado Springs, Funky Little Theater Company has received numerous awards for its work. In 2014, they won Silver for BEST PLAY (Best of the Springs, The Gazette) and two acting awards for the production In a Dark Dark House by Neil LaBute. In addition to many other acting awards they also received Bronze for BEST THEATRE COMPANY (Best of the Springs, The Gazette) in 2016. In 2015, Bill Wheeler’s Theater Colorado blog recognized Funky for 'Outstanding Service to the Community' and 'Original Work Showcase' for their annual production of 24SEVEN (a 24-hour theatre project).
