With the COVID-19 crisis shuttering theatre across Colorado, local theatre companies have, unsurprisingly, gotten creative with ways to let the show go on — at least in some form.
Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company, for one, offered the first of its “GhostLight Series” with a two-minute YouTube adaptation of its canceled production of Oslo. Performed on a model set with toy dinosaurs standing in for the actors, the mini-Oslo can be seen below:
Streaming improv
In Crested Butte, the Subject to Change improv group is doing a live, streaming version of their show at 7:30 p.m. March 25. Here’s the link.
Free Range Dairy
Boulder’s Dairy Center for the Arts has announced a series under the title “Free Range Dairy,” with several online shows already announced.
As we hear of more shows like this, we’ll update them in this post.
