Sopris Theatre Company at Colorado Mountain College will present “When You Comin’ Back, Red Ryder?”, a drama right in line with the Halloween season, by Mark Medoff, at CMC Spring Valley Oct. 19-28.

In the late 1960s Foster’s Diner, a rest stop in southern New Mexico, lost most of its clientele when a new highway bypass opened. The only ones left are a restless cook Stephen (known as Red); mousy waitress Angel; their boss Clark; and Lyle, the owner of the adjacent gas station. That’s until an unstable Vietnam War vet’s car breaks down and the monotony is decidedly disrupted.
