Herman's Hideaway is an independent music venue in Denver, Colorado that has been entertaining audiences for over 55 years. Established in 1962, the venue has a rich history and has hosted more than 32,000 bands throughout its operation.

A Family-Owned Legacy

The venue was originally founded by Herman Roth, who transformed it from a restaurant in the 1940s and 50s into a shot-and-beer joint. In 1982, Herman's son Allan Roth stepped in and started working with his father, eventually transforming the business into one of Denver's premier music venues.

Supporting the Local Music Scene

Despite the rise of corporate giants in the industry, Herman's Hideaway has remained committed to supporting the local music scene. The venue pays performers more than 100% of the door revenue, a practice that has earned them the unwavering support of the community.
