Grand Lake summer theatre returns with ‘Shrek,’ ‘Dirty Rotten Scoundrels,’ ‘Urinetown’ and a fall ’70s revue.

Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre has announced the company members for its 2026 season in Grand Lake, drawing performers from more than 1,200 nationwide auditions for a slate of four musicals running June through September.

The summer repertory kicks off June 5 with Shrek The Musical, followed by Dirty Rotten Scoundrels on June 19 and Urinetown The Musical on July 3. The fall production, Never Can Say Goodbye: The 70s Beehive Musical, opens Sept. 4.

The 2026 company includes Xander Benton, Caroline Bowers, Kinsey Gray Calderone, Sophia Campagna, Brandi Campbell, Jack Cipriani, Kristen Das, Lydia Diekmann, Shannon Foley, Brecken Hummer, Logan Johnson, Josh Kellman, Tori Kocher, Mitchell Lewis, Wedler Lordeus, George Lorimer, Jared Martin, Brandy Miller, Rachel Miller, Yazmine Moore, Megan Opalinski, Maura Rose Pawelko, Nicholas A. Petrelli, Rebecca Rand, Brooklynn Stanley, Tyler Symone and Noah Warner.

Creative team

Returning artist Michael Querio will direct Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and serve as music director for Shrek and Urinetown. Jeff Duke directs Shrek and Never Can Say Goodbye, and Suzanna Champion directs Urinetown. Michael Jordan rejoins as music director for Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.

Choreography duties are split among Jennifer Lupp (Shrek and Never Can Say Goodbye), Christopher Rice-Thomson (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels) and Stephanie Hansen (Urinetown). Costume designers include Jesus Perez (Shrek), Lindsay McDonald (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Urinetown) and Duke and Lupp jointly for Never Can Say Goodbye.

Additional design credits go to Ethan Newman (lighting), Cody Tellis Rutledge and Tucker Topel (scenic), Joshua Nguyen (sound) and Lili Federico (projections). Returning production staff include Amy Radebaugh as stage manager and company manager, Newman as production manager and Jesse Wade as technical director.
