Cumbia Power! An evening of Music & Conversación

Peruvian writer, curator and DJ Alfredo Villar, aka DJ Sabroso, visits Denver from Lima for a night of music and conversation about chicha, cumbia and Peru’s psychedelic tropical sounds. The evening opens with a vinyl set from Denver’s DJ Yucasoul and includes a talk with Villar, then sets from DJ Sabroso and El Jaguar de la Muerte. It closes with a back-to-back set from all three. Alta Onda curates the bar with craft cocktails, mezcal pours and aguas frescas.
