(Press release) Warren Sherrill has been appointed the new associate artistic director and marketing manager at Miners Alley Peforming Arts Center in Golden. Sherrill has a long list of past successful work – previously directing, producing, and acting in numerous productions in the Denver area. In 2000, he co-founded Denver’s critically acclaimed Paragon Theatre and served as its Artistic Director until the company closed in 2012. And now, he’s joining the staff at Miners Alley!

He’s directed past Miners Alley shows including Lend Me a Tenor, Lost in Yonkers, Frankie and Johnny in the Claire De Lune, and Avenue Q. Other past favorites he has directed elsewhere include Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf and The Sound of a Voice (at Paragon), Jerusalem and Death of a Salesman (at The Edge), and Quality of Life (at Benchmark).

In his new staff role, Sherrill joins Artistic Director Len Matheo, and will play a pivotal part in shaping the artistic vision of Miners Alley Performing Arts Center. After working with him for the past ten years on some of Miners Alley’s biggest hit shows, we’re thrilled to welcome Warren Sherrill to the Miners Alley leadership team! And his latest project opens Jan. 19 with Misery.
