800 Years Young: a music & comedy experience

“800 Years Young” follows the origin and tasks of Dandy, a bard, who’s lived on earth for the last 800 years. Today is his 800th birthday, wherein the audience are his birthday party attendees. To preserve his ongoing immortality he must complete 10 tasks in 45 minutes: serenading an audience member, beatboxing, and offering a Q&A are examples of this historical fiction for all ages. Dandy’s mission is focused on taking part in society’s more difficult, critical conversations surrounding race, religion, war, politics, death, and the power of how shaping society happens in the moment, with our hearts and hands.
