Savoy Social: Salsa and Bachata

Social-goers can sign up à la carte for the evening’s activities, free with RSVP . At 6:30 PM, you can join a Story Circle with Artibus and host Gabriella Cavallero. The stories shared will contribute to a future theatre show celebrating the social importance of dance, the Savoy Denver’s role as a community hub, and the rich culture and history of the Latine/x and Afro-Latin communities in the historic Curtis Park/Five Points neighborhood. The Savoy Dance Social is funded in part by the Alex Wilson Legacy Fund, the RiNo Creative Grants Program, and the Bonfils-Stanton Foundation.
At 7:30 PM, participants can join a beginner’s Salsa and Bachata class with Somos Dance Studio, followed by a Dance Social from 8:30 PM to 12:00 AM featuring DJ Noslen. Throughout the night, attendees are encouraged to visit Artibus’ story booth to share their stories.
