Animus Movement

Animus Movement is a contemporary modern dance company dedicated to inspiring, educating, and engaging the community through dance. The company is committed to providing opportunities for diverse artistic expression, cultivating an appreciation for dance, and supporting the development of both emerging and established artists.

Through its second company, Animus II, and youth program, Animus Iuventus, Animus Movement provides pre-professional dancers with meaningful performance opportunities that foster creativity, discipline, and artistic growth while preparing them for future careers in dance. Collaboration is central to the company’s creative process, and Animus Movement regularly works alongside dancers, choreographers, musicians, visual artists, and other interdisciplinary collaborators.
