Playwright LM Feldman
up with playwright LM Feldman at the Colorado New Play Summit at the Denver Center Theatre Company. Feldman’s play ‘Another Kind of Silence’ is one of five new works in production being presented as readings at this year’s Summit. Her play features characters communicating in English and American Sign Language, with each accompanied by an interpreter who also serves as a chorus, or ‘soul.’ It’s a fascinating technique that extends the emotional range of each character while also providing a unique and inclusive experience for all audiences.
