Denver Center announces 2026/27 Broadway season

‘Maybe Happy Ending,’ winner of the 2025 Tony for best musical, closes the subscription slate

The Denver Center for the Performing Arts has announced its 2026/27 Broadway and Cabaret season, featuring eight subscription shows and a packed slate of added attractions running from October 2026 through September 2027.

The subscription season opens with Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Oct. 20–Nov. 7) — the first North American tour of the production in more than 25 years — and includes the return engagement of The Book of Mormon (Jan. 5–17), the nine-time Tony Award winner the New York Times called “the best musical of this century.”

Other subscription highlights include BOOP! The Musical (Mar. 9–21), based on the Betty Boop character; the Tony-winning The Great Gatsby (Apr. 6–18); Buena Vista Social Club (Apr. 27–May 9); and Death Becomes Her (May 25–Jun. 6). The season closes with Maybe Happy Ending (Aug. 18–29), winner of six Tony Awards including best musical at this year’s ceremony.

The DCPA Cabaret will produce What a Glorious Feeling!, a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Singin’ in the Rain, running Nov. 7 through Apr. 4 at the Garner Galleria Theatre as part of the full subscription package.

Added attractions include Waitress, Jersey Boys, Legally Blonde — The Musical, Mamma Mia!, Riverdance 30, ELF The Musical and A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical, among others.
